Life Changing Events
Sarah is pregnant. Jim has a new job.
The End..........Oh you want more! Details?
Well, here goes.
According to our calculations this is week 15. Sarah is due August 24th. We do not yet know the gender of the baby, but will be finding out in about a month. Morning sickness has been variable, but there is still much moaning. Any week now we are hoping it will taper off. It looks as though she will take Fall semester off and resume some level of teaching in the spring. Oh, and she has applied to be promoted to associate professor, which comes with a 10% raise, just in time to go on unpaid leave. That's the breaks.
Jim is changing jobs after 13+ years at the high school. For him it is like leaving home for the first time. He is moving to the district office to work in the technology department as a trainer and programmer to tie all of the different programs that the district uses together. This is quite a pay raise, although it now requires working in the summers. One of his main reasons for taking the job is to compensate for Sarah possibly not working.
So that's the big excitement.
Now for some pictures from Christmas.
Jim tried a beard over Christmas, but he didn't keep it long. Too itchy!!!

Everyonnoe had lots of fun playing with the Wii at Mom and Dad's house.
A timeless picture of Dad asleep while preparing for his Sunday school lesson, and Mom with her arms full of wrapping paper.

And gratuitous pictures of other people...

Finally, here we are painting the stairs...and the final result.

And finally, since we don't have a good gerbil picture handy, here is a floppy bunny picture. And yes, it's real! (But not ours.)

Till next time....
